Quinnipiac is pleased to offer temporary housing for healthcare professionals, including traveling nurses, for summer 2026.
We are proud to provide a safe and convenient living option for healthcare workers assigned to hospitals and medical facilities throughout Connecticut. Our goal is to support both healthcare organizations and their staff by offering comfortable, reliable housing that allows professionals to focus on their important work of serving communities across the state.

To be approved for summer housing you must meet the following requirements:
Provide verification letter of employment and a completed background check
18 years of age or older
$350 per week* for a single occupancy room in a 5-person suite.
Includes parking, gym access, Wi-Fi and laundry.
*Weeks cannot be prorated
A signed contract and non-refundable $50 summer housing fee is required to hold your room reservation. If your company/organization is sponsoring the cost of your summer housing, the Conference & Events team will work directly with the company representative on payment. Full payment will be due at least two weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellations more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus the $50 fee. Any cancellations fewer than 14 days out will be non-refundable.
Please be aware that in the summer months campus dining options are limited and/or operate on reduced hours.
All summer housing assignments will have a communal kitchen where guests will need to provide their own cooking utensils and food.
Guests are expected to bring their own bedding, linen and toiletries.
Guests are required to clean their own living areas; cleaning services are not offered.
Non-registered guests are not permitted in the residence halls overnight.
Parking and a gym membership are complimenary (registration required).
Housing will be located in Eastview on the York Hill Campus in Hamden, Connecticut.
Free and convenient parking is available and the campus is easily accessible from I-91, I-95, and the Merritt Parkway.

Bedrooms furnished with twin extra-long bed, desk, chair and wardrobe
Suites have two separate, full bathrooms and a full kitchen
Please note, the dining hall on York Hill Campus may not be open for Summer 2026. Guests will have access to the Mount Carmel Dining Hall and all suites come equipped with a full kitchen.
