With their expertise in event logistics, catering and technology, they ensure every event is a success, allowing hosts to focus on engaging with their attendees.

Shannon LeGault ’99, CMP

Shannon LeGault

Associate Vice President

Shannon brings over 20 years of event management experience, including her roles with Yale’s Conferences & Events and Omni Hotels. Shannon’s focus is on developing new policies and procedures to optimize the use of our event spaces year-round, including during the summer months. As a member of MPI, Shannon enjoys networking with industry professionals and continuing to learn the latest in event trends. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her two teenage sons.

With more than 11 years of event experience at Quinnipiac, Charity has built strong relationships with campus partners and local vendors, offering invaluable insight and support to our team. With a previous background in project and product management, Charity has been able to apply her knack for details and organization, as well as her formal project management training, to help clients efficiently and seamlessly host exceptional events. When Charity has free time she enjoys volunteering wither her daughters’ PTO, the education program at Mystic Aquarium, and with Daughters of the American Revolution.

Administrative Assistant to Development & Alumni Affairs

Lynn’s experience includes working at a print marketing firm for many national quick-service restaurants in various roles, managing the marketing promotions for Carter’s Retail Inc., writing freelance for a local newspaper, and serving for many years in the public school system before joining the Development and Alumni Affairs Department at Quinnipiac. Lynn currently supports the Alumni Affairs team, University Events team and the Conferences and Events team. Quinnipiac holds a very special place in her heart as she and her husband are a “Q Couple,” with hopes of continuing the Quinnipiac legacy with their children in the future.

Graduate Assistant

After completing her undergraduate degree at Quinnipiac, Lauren returns to the Quinnipiac community in the School of Law. As a law student with experience working in firms and event planning roles, she brings strong organizational and problem-solving skills to her work. She is actively involved with student groups at the law school, fostering community and professional development. In her free time, she enjoys reading and catching up on her favorite TV shows.

Ganine Marottolo ’24, MSW ’26

Ganine Marottolo

Graduate Assistant

Ganine Marottolo is the graduate assistant for the Conferences and Events team. She graduated from Quinnipiac in May 2024 with her BS in Psychology and is currently working toward earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Her compassion, trust and patience — which she has developed through her field work — shines through in the work she does for Conferences and Events. In this role, she assists with behind-the-scenes event planning and acts as an onsite coordinator during events.
